Open to those who own (or are thinking about purchasing) a Brother or Baby Lock machine that has this built in digitizing program; My Design Center (Brother) or IQ Designer (Baby Lock). The programs are identical on the 2 brands.
There are many different models of machines that include this powerful, yet easy to use, tool.
The same class will repeat several times over the course of a month. No need to sign up for every session unless you just want to.
The class is offered at no cost and registration is required.
Each month a new class will be offered, covering different aspects of the program.
This class we will focus on the Line Tools of My Design Center. We will create a line drawn embroidery pattern.

Review of the workspace and tools selection

What is the Straight Line with Direction change Drawing tool and how it is used
How to assign stitch types and colors to lines
How to double check that your line has been changed
Understand the purpose of Line Flood Fill
How to add to draw a design
What is the Preview box
How to use the Zoom feature
How to use the Pan hand
What and where the Rotate options are
How to relocate pieces of the design on the design page (Move)
To experience how to use the eraser tool and options
Use Undo and Redo
Change the Stitch Properties of the Line Stitch types
Create a primitive embroidery design using all the Line tools
