Privy Garden Block of the Month
| From the designer: "The Privy Garden is the name of the baroque private garden at the back of the Hampton Court Palace. The layout of the formal gardens is reflected in the layout of the quilt design where a big feature of wrought iron screens at the back can be found by the River Thames. The use of the Trellis print reflects the layout of the garden." This 6 month block of the month project that uses 7 different block designs makes use of all 12 prints from the Hampton Court fabric line from Figo. The finished size 35" x 35", with the option to make 4 of the small quilts and combine them for a 70" square quilt. The class will be a demo only class-- learn the techniques used to make the block. We will also have optional block of the month sew days on Saturday February 18, and Saturday April 22nd. The designer is offering a sew along on Facebook also. |
